If there is one thing that patrons practically lose their heads over at the Tiny Art Show, it’s this: a display of small sculptures with an inventive take on Benjamin Franklin.
Since 2022, artist Vik Sexton has created about two dozen Franklin heads a year for what is both the Emerge Gallery and Art Center’s smallest and largest annual exhibition. Tiny Art Show is smallest in terms of the size of works and largest in number of entries and visitors. But the Franklin figures are so popular that by the time the exhibit officially opens, there are no representations of the founding father to be found.
