Tioga Publishing is proud to announce the 2023 Girls Tennis All-Stars for the 2023 season — the All-Star team consists of all three of the Tioga County teams of Wellsboro, NP-Liberty and Cowanesque Valley.

The Tioga Publishing Tennis Player of the Year is CV’s Kylee Stone, who helped lead the Lady Indians to a Northern Tier League Title and a spot in the District 4 Playoffs.

She also was able to pick up a first-round win in the District 4 Singles Tournament, before withdrawing in the second round of the tournament.

She finished the 2023 season with a 6-4 overall record in singles play as the number one player for the CV team this past season.

Making the First Team from the CV squad was Logan Hamilton (5-3) and Laynie LeBarron.

NP-Liberty had two players make the cut for the Tioga Publishing First Team, with Annabelle Johns (7-1) posting a strong season in singles play in the second spot for the Lady Mounties.

Also landing on the First Team was senior Marissa Griess, who played in the number one slated spot for Liberty this past season.

Making the Second Team for the Lady Mounties was Ellie Brion (4-1 doubles), Addison Hill (1-0 singles; 2-1 doubles), Angeline Benitez (1-2 singles; 2-0 doubles) as well as Martina Bradford (2-2 singles; 2-1 doubles).

For Wellsboro, they had two players make the team with number one player Hannah Nuss (4-9) making the First Team, while Olivia Gage made the Second Team for the Lady Hornets.
