Tish Cyrus Discusses Her Feelings Over Miley Cyrus’s Tearjerker ‘Used to Be Young’


Tish Cyrus is very proud of her daughter Miley Cyrus and her new emotional song, which came out on Friday, August 25.

The Hannah Montana star sings the song, “Used to Be Young,” with tears in her eyes in the music video. The song’s words talk about the many problems she has had to deal with over the past ten years.

After the single came out, Tish went on Instagram to talk about how she felt about it.

“Every time I see this video it brings tears to my eyes,” Tish wrote. “I’m in awe of you every single day.”

She went on, “I love nothing more than watching you grow into the most beautiful human I could ever imagine. I’m so beyond blessed to have you love me like you do. And I love you more than words can describe.”

Tish went on to say that the song was a “testament to this journey” they had been on.

She ended the letter by saying, “Can’t wait to see where we’re going next!!!!! Love you Little @mileycyrus.”

In the music video, the artist who won a Grammy wears a white Mickey Mouse shirt under a bright red corset that sparkles.

On the day the song came out, the singer wrote on her social media accounts that she feels proud when she thinks about her past and happy when she thinks about her future.

She wrote, “This song is about honouring who we’ve been, loving who we are & celebrating who we will become. I am grateful to my loyal fans who make my dreams a reality daily. I am sincerely thankful for the stability of your steadfast support. This song is for you. Truly, Miley.”
