TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo Police are searching for a suspect who they say ran away after crashing a car into a building Wednesday morning.

On May 22 around 8:26 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Dennis Court for reports of a hit-and-run accident. According to TPD, when officers arrived, they found a Saturn SUV inside of an unoccupied LMHA apartment, but the suspect was nowhere to be found.

City building inspectors were called to the scene and the accident is currently under investigation.
