Katie Holmes dressed nice but did not appear delighted at a New York City excursion after Tom Cruise got a lucrative acting contract.

The Dawson’s Creek star was seen walking along a street in Manhattan’s West Village district while holding a drink in a plastic bottle.

The stunning brunette, who turned 45 last month, remained warm in a long caramel tan coat with front pockets and a generous collar.

The Secret actress wore a black shirt with layered necklaces over it. She also wore light grey sweatpants, black Adidas sneakers, and a black “taxi purse” thrown over her shoulder.

Her ruby red-edged, large, rectangular sunglasses, with a tinge of 1970s style, stood out.

This comes after Warner Bros. offered her ex-husband Tom Cruise a lucrative production and development deal.

Tom and Katie got married in 2006.

After a long partnership with Paramount, Cruise is ringing in the new year with a brand-new deal with Warner Bros. Pictures to develop and produce new films.

The 61-year-old actor first signed a Paramount deal in 1992 through his now-defunct Cruise/Wagner Productions, which he co-owned with Paula Wagner.
