BRISTOL – The Bristol City Arts and Culture Commission has named Tom Lagasse as “Poet Laureate.” He will be organizing monthly open mic nights at Creative Jam Art Co.

Lagasse was born in Bristol and said he has been a resident for most of his life. He is an internationally published poet whose work can be found online and in print.
