Cybertruck Testing in Hermosa Beach, CA
The top gear folks are testing the Cybertruck out in California, and this is what was revealed.
First off, the Cybertruck looks very shiny and clean – almost like the stainless steel exoskeleton is from another planet. The Cybertruck is also very big, long and the back of it is open. The tires have the same wheel covers I’ve seen in other Cybertruck pictures.
There is a single row of lights on the back of the Cybertruck, and my guess is that this is what will appear when the brakes are held down or the truck is regenerative braking.
The “frunk” of the Cybertruck does have an automatic opening and is very wide, but not very long. It looks to be about a foot long and a couple feet deep.
The back of the Cybertruck shows seating for 3 people, and it seemed like the seats in front were kind of close to the back seats, or that the front seats were just moved as far back as possible. It’s a big question if it will be roomy in the back for people.
Elon Musk was kind enough to let Top Gear drive the truck and at the end of the video, they said they were going to return the truck to Elon Musk.
The Cybertruck has some known specs such as:
* Stainless Steel Exoskeleton
* 0-60 under 3 seconds for the top model
* 6.5′ bed with vault
* 2K more carrying capacity than a Silverado
* Very wide frunk
* Glass ceiling
* Tows 14,000 lbs.
* Crab walks
* Can just about drive itself

Cybertruck Buzz
The Cybertruck has been abuzz with news lately, and I see this only heating up over the coming days. There have been many things shown related to the Cybertruck, and my favorite was the black wrapped Cybertruck that looked like the Batmobile.
There was also a Joe Rogan video on his podcast of him shooting a compound bow at the steel exoskeleton of the Cybertruck and the arrow getting deflected while the Cybertruck simply had a small dent in it.
Most cars on the road today would have been fully penetrated by an arrow fired at them from a compound bow, like Joe Rogan fired.
There is also a report that the Cybertruck will also come with an option for bulletproof glass for the windows, but that the windows wouldn’t be able to be rolled down in that case.
Look for a flood of videos and articles on the Cybertruck over the coming months – before and after the delivery event on November 30th. Everyone wants to know what the actual specs are going to be beyond the weight – such as the range, battery kWh, and the performance.
Last night Manhattan Beach Cybertruck sighting WAS a shoot….. but for Top Gear! Check the video below of some images a passer by got. https://t.co/yqqDJbTcxh pic.twitter.com/mqgzqujdwW
