Toyota and Lexus bring their full vehicle lineup to the Montreal International Auto Show at Palais des congrès from January 17-26, with six new models taking centre stage. The 2025 Toyota Camry, Crown Signia, Land Cruiser, and Tacoma join the Lexus GX and TX as feature attractions, each representing significant updates to their respective model lines.
2025 Camry Goes All-Hybrid
The 2025 Toyota Camry introduces an all-hybrid lineup. The sedan pairs Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system with a 2.5-litre engine, producing 225 net horsepower in front-wheel drive models and 232 horsepower with electronic on-demand all-wheel drive. The front-wheel drive achieves 4.9 L/100 km combined, while AWD models deliver 5.1 L/100 km combined. Priced from $34,300, the Camry adds standard features including an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Crown Signia Enters Crossover Market
The 2025 Crown Signia enters the crossover segment with standard all-wheel drive and hybrid power. The powertrain generates 240 net horsepower while achieving 6.2 L/100 km combined fuel consumption. Interior space reaches 1,870 litres with folded rear seats, and standard features include leather-trimmed seating, a panoramic glass roof, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Land Cruiser Returns with i-FORCE MAX
The 2025 Land Cruiser pairs a 2.4-litre turbocharged engine with an electric motor, delivering 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Starting at $69,495, standard equipment includes full-time four-wheel drive, centre and rear locking differentials, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. The Land Cruiser maintains a 6,000-pound towing capacity and adds features like Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain Select.
Tacoma Adds Hybrid Option
The 2025 Tacoma offers twelve models, including new hybrid i-FORCE MAX variants. Hybrid models produce 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, towing up to 5,950 pounds. Gas powertrains remain available with six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions.
GX Brings V6 Power
The 2025 Lexus GX pairs a 3.4-litre twin-turbo V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission, generating 349 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. The GX starts at $86,015 across six grades. New standard features include driver’s seat memory, power steering column adjustments, and on Overtrail models, an onboard air compressor and pre-wired auxiliary switches. Towing capacity reaches 9,063 pounds.
TX Expands with F SPORT Models
The 2025 Lexus TX adds F SPORT grades to its lineup. The TX offers two powertrains: a 275-horsepower turbo gas engine or a 366-horsepower hybrid system. Interior space accommodates seven carry-on suitcases behind the third row, expanding to 2,746 litres with seats folded. Starting at $69,015, the TX includes a 14-inch touchscreen and Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 across all ten grades.
