The late Rodolfo Dordoni designed the Chapeaux lamp for Doscarini and it is made for table decor and has a captivating element to it. Notably, the lamp has a clear body made from pyrex materials, and then stemming from that is a cylindrical structure that widens out at both ends.
The base supports the top body and it holds a hat diffuser so that when the lighting is switched on, it highlights the very subtle reflections. The second part of the Chapeaux lamp is made so that is hides all of the technical details and creates a minimal form, appearing as if the light is floating. Finally, the hat rests without any interlocked detail which nods to its namesake.
