Travel to Norway in Hallmark Channel’s Newest Christmas Movie

One of the things I love about Hallmark movies is that I don’t have to spend a dime to travel all over the globe. I’ve been to Greece in Love’s Greek to Me, Portugal in A Pinch of Portugal, France in Paris, Wine & Romance and even Malta in The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango.

In Hallmark’s latest Countdown to Christmas movie, viewers get the chance to travel to Norway in My Norwegian Holiday and they’ll get a few travel tips for the Nordic nation. Here’s everything we know about My Norwegian Holiday, including a Parade sneak peek.

What is My Norwegian Holiday about?

A last-minute holiday trip to The Land of the Midnight Sun leads PhD candidate JJ Johnson (Rhiannon Fish) to clues that might help her solve the decades-old mystery surrounding a carved troll figurine that her grandmother loved and passed on to her. While there, JJ is warmly welcomed and accepted by the family of world-class skier Henrik Strom (David Elsendoorn), who has finally returned home following a career-ending injury. As JJ unravels the mystery of the troll, she discovers a life-changing family secret, and Henrik comes to terms with the end of his competitive career. With love now blooming between JJ and Henrik just as JJ’s holiday trip comes to a close, JJ must decide whether to return to Minneapolis or completely open her heart to love and a newfound family in Norway.
