Trevor Noah has announced that he will host the 66th Grammy Awards for the fourth time in a row.
On Wednesday, the former Daily broadcast host announced on his What Now? With Trevor Noah podcast that he will host the event as well as serve as a producer on the broadcast.
Trevor emphasized his enthusiasm for hosting the event, saying, “I think it’s also important to acknowledge something. I’m hosting the Grammys.”
“I’m excited about that, yeah, it’s a lot of fun,” he added.
Trevor went on to say, “I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then experience and comment on it in person while it is happening.”
Trevor hosted the shows in 2021, 2022, and earlier this year for the uninitiated.
The 66th Grammy Awards, which are set to take place on February 4, are apparently being produced for the Recording Academy by Fulwell 73 Productions.
In addition to Trevor, the show’s executive producers will include Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, and Jesse Collins.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift was nominated for six Grammy Awards in November, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.
Aside from that, Phoebe Bridgers, Serban Ghenea, and Victoria Monét each have seven nominations, while SZA has nine, including Record, Album, and Song of the Year.
Interestingly, Trevor has been nominated for best comedy CD for his title, I Wish You Would, in addition to hosting the show.
