The Tri-Valley Lions Club honored Emma Shadle as the October Outstanding Student of the Arts. Emma was selected for her talent in the area of instrumental music and visual art.

Emma is a daughter of Corey and Jennifer Shadle, Hegins. She is a senior at Tri-Valley High School in the academic curriculum. She has played bells and other instruments since the fourth grade. She shared with the club some examples of her paintings, drawings and crafts.

Emma has served as section pit leader in band and has been a member of Honors Band, Junior High and Senior High County Band and served as soccer captain for two years. She plans to attend a four-year college to study graphic design.
