On Saturday, the song “Justice for All” by former President Trump and the J6 Prison Choir was the most popular song on iTunes. The single’s eight-day ascent allows it to displace Miley Cyrus, whose song “Flowers” previously topped the list.
According to Variety, the rise of “Justice for All” on the iTunes sales chart does not necessarily portend a presence on the Billboard Hot 100. This is because the iTunes sales chart counts paid downloads, representing “a small fraction” of the music business as a whole. The recording features a choir of D.C. prisoners incarcerated for their alleged roles in the Capitol uprising singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” while Trump recites the Pledge of Allegiance.
