An early morning fire on Friday destroyed a car and damaged a house near 31st and Yale in Tulsa, firefighters said.
Firefighters said a Tulsa Police officer spotted smoke while on the Broken Arrow Expressway around 3 a.m. Friday.
When the officer pulled up to the house, he saw the family trying to put out the fire with a garden hose, according to firefighters.
Tulsa firefighters said they were able to put the fire pretty quickly. No one was hurt, firefighters said.
