Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are determined to handle their upcoming split in the healthiest way possible.
A source told Us Weekly that the two are “on the path to healing and to being healthy coparents. They’re both on the same page.”
When the “Sucker” singer filed for divorce from Turner last month, just a few weeks after Turner went to a Jonas Brothers show, things got very tense between the two.
The ex-Game of Thrones star soon sued Jonas for “wrongfully detaining” their two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, in the U.S., saying that the family had already agreed to move to the U.K. before the divorce was filed.
The parents of two kids then had to go through a few days of mediation to work out their differences. This helped them come to an agreement on who would have care of their kids until the end of the year.
It was also said that the Jonas Brothers star had dropped the divorce papers so that they could settle their differences in secret.
“It’s definitely not as contentious now. They’re taking steps forward,” a source told the news site.
They went on to say, “They spoke recently and it was amicable, and that triggered a quicker resolution. They did it for the kids’ sake and didn’t want to drag it out.”
