Twitter Is Accused of Stiffing Another Musk-Appointed Contractor

The richest person in the world is being accused of not paying another Twitter contractor. This time, a public relations company is suing for almost $1 million in unpaid bills. According to a lawsuit brought in New York Supreme Court on Friday, JR Associates first signed a contract with Twitter in 2015. Musk ended the agreement when he bought the social media platform last year, but the PR firm says he didn’t take care of Twitter’s remaining responsibilities. Worse, the company said, they have had trouble finding someone to talk to about their problems. The employees they used to talk to were seemingly fired and “replaced with bots and/or automated mailboxes,” the lawsuit said.
