Two Dead in “Chaotic” Shootout at Senior Home in Minnesota

On a Saturday night, during a “celebration of life” gathering, a shooting occurred at a senior home in St. Paul, Minnesota, leaving two people dead and three others injured, according to authorities. After 5 p.m., gunfire rang out in the parking lot of Kings Crossing by Episcopal Homes, producing a “chaotic scene,” according to the officials. One man was confirmed dead at the spot, while four others were transported to a hospital nearby. A second victim succumbed to his wounds shortly after arriving. Sunday, police said that of the other three victims, one male is in critical condition, one lady is in stable condition, and one is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Sunday, St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter described the incident as “just terrible.” He continued, “We are sick of this news conference. We’re tired of finding the right words to describe violence.”
