Two Henry County High School Students Participate in Workshop Teaching Technology to Local Seniors


A technology grant funded opportunities for two local students from Henry County Schools to participate in a workshop hosted by the Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity.

On Saturday, Oct. 28 Malique Robinson, an Eagles Landing High School student, and Yusef Phillips, a student from Dutchtown High School, participated in HabiTech — a workshop that helps seniors and military veterans gain basic technology skills they can utilize in their everyday life.

Southern Crescent Habitat received a $10,000 grant from State Farm which funded the HabiTech program for several high school students from Henry County schools and surrounding areas.
