Two men are one step closer to winning the ROH World Television title

When Samoa Joe vacated the ROH World Television Championship, Tony Khan announced Survival of the Fittest as the solution to crown a new titleholder at Final Battle on December 15. In the meantime, qualifier matches will be held on ROH TV to determine the six participants. The first batch was delivered on episode 40.

Dalton Castle was the first to punch his ticket with a victory over Evil Uno. The Boys were ringside to spur peacock power. Uno had enough of the meddling and shoved the Boys. Castle kicked it into overdrive from there for a suplex train and a bulldog. Castle worked for the Bangarang to win.

Komander was next to ensure an invitation. The luchador bested Gringo Loco. Gringo missed the target on a springboard moonsault. That was the opening Komander needed to seize victory. A head kick and a backcracker softened Gringo to lose via rope-walking shooting star press.

The Final Battle card currently includes:

  • ROH Women’s World Championship: Athena (c) vs. Billie Starkz
  • ROH World Television Championship: Survival of the Fittest with Dalton Castle, Komander, and four more

Final Battle goes live from Garland, TX on December 15. The broadcast will air exclusively on HonorClub.
