The hack has been shared by TikTok star Ceith Griffith in a video that’s racked up thousands of views.

Ceith explained that checking the amount of coolant in your car and keeping the heat off when you turn your engine on will warm up your vehicle faster.
He said: “I’m going to show you an easy maintenance tip to make your car heat up faster in the mornings.
“You want to make sure your coolant is exactly where it’s supposed to be. Do not overfill it. Just make sure it’s right there at the line.
“When you turn your car on in the morning to heat it up, make sure that the heat is off.
“I know that sounds a little crazy but when the heat is off it makes your car heat up a whole lot faster. Enjoy.”
However, users were divided on the hack’s effectiveness.
“It doesn’t matter the thermostat opens at a certain temp,” one wrote.
“Therefore doesn’t matter if heat is on or not. Coolant heats up same either way.”
