Tyga has asked for full custody of his son King Cairo, who he shares with Blac Chyna, his ex-girlfriend.
According to court records that E! News got last week, the rapper asked for legal and personal custody of King, 11.
Besides that, he asked the court to let Chyna, whose real name is Angela White now, visit the tween every Friday after school and every Sunday at 5 p.m.
In a statement to the news outlet, the socialite reacted to the filing by saying that she was “shocked” to learn of her ex’s request.
“I have always respected him as King’s father and know that we both love him very much and want nothing but the best for him,” she stated. “I never imagined that Michael would want to alienate me or distance me from King and strategically push me out of his life.”
” do not know where all of this is coming from. It’s all very sad and definitely not what is best for King. In a perfect world Michael and I would be supportive, loving co-parents equally involved in King’s life,” she said.
Chyna asked for joint custody and child support with the Main One star over the summer, which is when Tyga filed.
The Cash Only singer also has a daughter with her ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian. Her name is Dream 6.
