A Seneca County man is under arrest for allegedly taking a car without having consent.

The incident on March 28th occurred at a residence in the Town of Tyre. Michael Lofft was located driving the car in the town of Seneca Falls and was taken into custody by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office without incident.

The 49-year-old Tyre resident was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and was released on an appearance ticket.

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Seneca Falls Police, Waterloo Police, and State Police.
