Arts and Humanities Council backs initiative to support screen and performance sectors with £75.6 million

The Arts and Humanities Council has launched a £75.6 million R&D network for creative technologies, which includes labs at several universities around the UK.

The Convergent Screen Technologies and Performance in Realtime (Costar) network will aim to “unlock transformative technologies” such as artificial intelligence for the UK’s screen and performance sectors, the AHRC said.
