SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The tale of Snow White is on its way to the San Luis Obispo Performing Arts Center (PAC) on November 13.
The Ukrainian company Grand Kyiv Ballet said it will feature world-renowned prima ballerina Kateryna Kukhar as well as her husband, Oleksandr Stoianov who both hail from National Opera of Ukraine.
According to the PAC, “‘Snow White’ brings the beloved fairy tale to life through stunning choreography, lavish costumes, and a stellar cast. Drawing inspiration from Disney’s timeless classic, the ballet features the musical enchantment of renowned Polish composer Bogdan Pavlovsky, creating an immersive experience for all generations.”
All proceeds from the the show will go towards the preservation and on-going renovations of the Kiev State Choreographic College in Kyiv, Ukraine.
