The University of Minnesota Duluth men’s basketball team sits at 16th in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches national poll, the first regular season poll of the 2023-24 season.
The Bulldogs pulled in 130 points in the national ranking after a 3-1 start, but fell four spots after the NABC’s preseason poll initially had UMD at 12th. Two other Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schools made their debuts this week in the top-20 — Minnesota State University, Moorhead, who entered the poll at No. 9, and Minnesota State University, Mankato, who also appeared for the first time this season in the 12th spot.
UMD will hit the road this weekend to face Michigan Tech University Saturday in Houghton, Mich. at 12:00 p.m. (CDT) and wrap up the holiday weekend at Marquette, Mich. against Northern Michigan University at noon on Sunday.
