UPDATE | Fire-damaged warehouse was used to store items for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts


 

Lebanon and Lancaster County crews responded early Saturday morning to a fire at a large warehouse, part of which was used to store retail items for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts.The call went out at 12:22 a.m. for the fire on Airport Road in South Londonderry Township. “A fire broke out at a warehouse facility in South Londonderry Township, a portion of which we rent for retail storage. The Fire Marshal is investigating the cause, but no determination has yet been made. We are thankful for the prompt response and efforts of the fire departments and other first responders. Most importantly, we are grateful that no one was injured in the incident,” Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Director of PR Quinn Bryner said in a statement.Smoke damage could be seen on the exterior of the building. Freezing temperaturesFire crews had to deal with frigid conditions. The Grantville Volunteer Fire Company posted photos on Facebook showing their crew dealing with ice and other challenges.
