Victims of the Shooting at Michigan State University Identified

Three of the Michigan State University shooting victims have been named.

Tuesday’s Michigan State Police press release identified the first two victims as sophomore Brian Fraser and junior Alexandria Verner, followed by junior Arielle Anderson a few hours later. Five of the victims of alleged murderer Anthony McRae are still in serious condition, according to the authorities.

Fraser attended Grosse Pointe Public Schools, but Verner attended Clawson Public Schools. On Tuesday, Verner’s school system emailed families that “Alex was and is universally adored.” She was a great student, athlete, and leader who lived compassion every day. Her parents, Ted and Nancy, as well as her sister Charlotte and brother TJ, are suffering equally but are already experiencing the uplifting support of this extraordinary community.
