It was a big week for Marion County with two teams in the state final four. Trinity Catholic and Vanguard split the difference on the football field as the Celtics move onto the finals and the Knights historic season ends.
The action didn’t stop there as the last undefeated boys soccer teams, Lake Weir and Belleview, squared off with Aiden Kaczmarski sealing the win at home. The county’s top two girls basketball teams danced at Forest with the Wolf Pack flexing their dominance in a victory led by Calise Smith.
