VSP: car crash kills one, injures two
Police say the car veered off the wet road Sunday
Vermont State Police are investigating a crash that left an 18-year-old from Massachusetts dead after the car he was riding in veered off the road just after noon Sunday.Police say the car, a 2013 Ford Explorer, swerved off of Interstate 91 near Exit 25 in Barton into a wood line and concrete wall.The driver, 30-year-old Ediberto Luna from East Boston, sustained severe, life-threatening injuries.The front-seat passenger also sustained serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.Police say the 18-year-old, Brian Sanchez, also from East Boston, was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
