PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Parke Heritage High School celebrated the grand opening of its new automotive technology building.
The facility will be used for the “Wabash River Career and Technical Education Program.”
There are eight workbays and new tools, such as an alignment machine. Students will be using the facility to learn various automotive skills.
Some of those skills include changing a car’s oil, tire work, and the basics of car parts.
Teachers using the facility hope to go over the business side of owning their own auto shop, too.
