The holidays are coming hard and fast; it will be 2024 before we blink an eye. I’m already in full-out Thanksgiving and Christmas mode and trying to decide when and where I’m putting up my Christmas tree. I’ve already bought a lot of my Holiday Christmas Decor from Walmart, and now I’m working on my outfits. Today, I’m showing you a few Walmart fashions for the holidays; let me know your favorite.
Walmart fashions for the holidays when you are hosting
Thanksgiving is only a little over a month away, so now is the time to consider what to wear that day. If you’re doing the cooking, you’ll want to wear something that can get dirty or splattered and then change into something nice before you sit down to eat. If you don’t have time to change, consider wearing an Oversized Floral Printed Apron over your clothing to protect it while cooking.
I’m always cold, and our dining room is the coldest room in the house. So, I usually wear something warm and cozy like this Pullover Crew Neck Sweater. I’ll wear red, gold, silver, black, etc. for Christmas, but for Thanksgiving, I’m drawn to brown, beige, oatmeal, chocolate, and burgundy. I love this Fair Isle sweater, and so did a lot of others since it is sold out in a lot of sizes. The sweater is super soft and cozy, and it is generously sized. I bought the blue CHILL version, and now I wish I had bought the navy Fair Isle one since there seems to be plenty of inventory.
The print extends around the sweater, and the length is perfect. Not too short, and not too long. The Chocolate Fudge Pull on Bootcut Ponte Pants are the perfect pants when you know you’ll eat a huge meal. Diets go out the window for the Holidays; have a second plate and eat the dessert. Life is short, family is everything, and your diet can start back up tomorrow.
The Quilted Faux Leather Crossbody Bag is a great sized bag. It is big enough to hold a big wallet but not so large that your items get lost in the bottom. You won’t need to carry a handbag if you’re the one who is hosting Thanksgiving, but you’ll want one if you’re going to someone’s home.
Walmart fashions for the holidays when you’re traveling
There were years when Joe and I would travel for the holidays. When I was only cooking one or two dishes, then I would dress up a little more. Last year, we had reservations to eat at our favorite restaurant on Christmas since none of the kids were visiting that day. I would have worn an outfit like this to the restaurant, but we ended up canceling the reservations and stayed home instead.
This Faux Wool Double Breasted Oversized Coat is of amazing quality. It is sooo heavy and feels so luxurious. If you can’t wear wool, this would be the perfect coat for you. I suggest sizing down; I’m wearing a medium, and the coat is too large.
Sweater dresses are trending this year, and I was pleasantly surprised with this one. This Midi Ribbed Sweater Dress is a fit and flare design, and I was thrilled you couldn’t see my lumps and bumps. I’m wearing a medium, and that was the perfect size.
Here is a better look at the dress and coat. You can see how flattering the dress is, and it can be worn under cardigans, jackets, or blazers. Or, you could wear a long sleeve under it for another look.
I really like these black faux suede Slouch Boots, but they don’t look the best with this dress. The dress deserves a dressier shoe, so I’ll link to a few better options below. However, these boots look great in person, and I think they would look fabulous with casual dresses.
So, what are you doing for the holidays? Do you already have your outfit planned? If not, here are a few pieces I have on order that might interest you.
Walmart makes shopping very convenient for its customers, especially since most people have a store within 10 miles of their homes. You can also sign up for Walmart+, where you get Free Shipping with no order minimums (excludes most Marketplace items, location & freight surcharges) and Free Delivery (where available) with orders over $35. I take advantage of home delivery several times weekly and love that small convenience.
Walmart sponsors this post, and I will receive compensation, but the opinions expressed are my own.
