Warner Bros Television promotes exec VP Clancy Collins White to president of creative affairs


Warner Bros Television (WBTV), the live-action scripted production unit of US studio Warner Bros, has elevated Clancy Collins White to president of creative affairs.

With the promotion, Collins White, who was previously executive VP of creative affairs, will continue to oversee scripted programme development while adding oversight of casting and research.

Collins White’s remit includes development of drama, comedy and limited series for WBTV, with shows recently launched under her supervision including medical drama The Pitt (Max), workplace comedy Running Point (Netflix), Young Sheldon spin-off Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage (CBS) and comedy-drama Bad Monkey (Apple TV+).

The exec has been with WBTV since 2004, when she joined the company as VP of current programming. She was made VP of drama development in 2007 and promoted several more times before being named exec VP of creative affairs in 2020.

In addition, WBTV has promoted Mele Nagler to executive VP, head of casting.

Collins White will report to Channing Dungey, chairman and CEO of WBTV Group and Warner Bros Discovery US networks. Nagler will report to Collins White.
