WATERTOWN — Watertown Regional Medical Center has announced the installation of a new MRI machine. The upgraded technology features improved processing speeds for less time on the table, a wider opening for increased patient comfort, and enhanced resolution for clearer and more consistent images.

An MRI is a medical imaging technique that uses a magnetic field to create detailed images of organs and tissues inside your body. Radiologists and other medical providers use MRI results to help diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of issues including joint problems, structural problems, abnormalities, and tumors.
