Art and Wind Festival 2023

The City of San Ramon is pleased to invite qualified artists to participate in the City’s Art & Wind Festival by creating a featured artwork piece for the May 26–27, 2024 event.

The Art & Wind Festival has commissioned artists to design artwork that has been used for posters and other marketing materials since 1995. The designs have varied from watercolor paintings to mosaics to children’s artwork. All the pieces have depicted the art and wind themes in some way, using items such as kites, balloons, windsocks, paint palettes, brushes, pinwheels, etc. to show elements of the annual event.

The selected artist will receive a stipend of $750 to assist with the cost of materials and to compensate the artist for their time. In addition, the artist will receive free gallery space to exhibit for the month of May at the Lindsay Dirkx Brown Gallery at the San Ramon Community Center during the Art & Wind Festival.

See the Call for Artists for additional information and the application. The deadline to apply is Monday, December 11 at noon.
