The Weld County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman found dead in a car near Weld County roads 26 and 31 last week as 51-year-old Rebecca Greenup of Milliken.

Greenup was found dead inside her vehicle Thursday by representatives of the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, the Milliken Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office, according to a release from the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.

Greenup was reported missing to the Milliken Police Department on April 2. Police say she had not been seen for about three days when she was reported missing.

The sheriff’s office said no foul play is suspected and there is no danger to the town of Milliken or other Weld County communities.

One of Greenup’s daughters established an online fundraiser for Greenup’s end-of-life expenses via GoFundMe, according to the Justice Takes Flight-Colorado Missing Persons Facebook page. The fundraiser can be found at gofund.me/0e1ab9e3.
