Just recently, the network revealed that one of the this year’s Shark Week specials is called “Dancing with Sharks,” hosted by someone that will most likely be very familiar to audiences.

This year, Shark Week will start on Sunday, July 20 at 8 p.m.
On what networks can Shark Week be seen?
People can watch it when the show airs on Discovery Channel when it begins but it will also be available to stream on Discovery+ and Max.
Hulu also offers live streaming of the Discovery Channel.
Who is the host of Shark Week this year?
It is not yet known who the host will be for the series this year, but last year it was pro wrestler and movie star, John Cena, who was born in West Newburyport, Massachusetts.
In 2023, the host was Jason Mamoa, and in 2022 it was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

On its website, the Discovery Channel stated, “A full programming schedule for ‘Shark Week’ will be distributed in the coming weeks.”
‘Dancing With Sharks’ to be hosted by MA native
The Discovery Channel website revealed that the host of this show, which is part of this year’s Shark Week, will be TV personality Tom Bergeron, former host of “Dancing with the Stars” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos.” He also happens to be from Haverhill, Massachusetts.
The show will begin on July 20, with the onset of Shark Week.
According to the website, the show will feature “an unprecedented underwater dance competition between expert divers and their shark partners. Blending skill, grace and the daring pursuit of the ultimate underwater thrill, five divers—all trained by a world-class underwater choreographer—will compete to show off their skills during epic underwater dances.
“Each diver will attempt to outperform their competitors, with moves including the Hammerhead Hoedown and Tiger Trot, and redefine dancing with danger.”
