The newspaper says that two other candidates may also be in the running, but no one knows who they are.

The story said that the casting process for Superman: Legacy, the movie that is supposed to start Gunn and Peter Safran’s much-hyped first chapter of DC Studios, has reached a key point.

The Hollywood Reporter said that, according to sources, Jacob Elordi’s name also came up for the part of Kent, but he never put his hat in the ring.

It said that Tom Brittney and Andrew Richardson, two British actors, were also in the early running.

Warners didn’t say anything about the casting, according to the report, but an insider said that the filmmakers and company “are nowhere near a decision.”
