What happened during the ‘Survivor’ season 47 finale?
Rachel LaMont won individual immunity to start out the episode, clinching her spot in the final three. It was her fourth individual immunity win.
Back at camp, Rachel told Sam Phalen and Teeny Chirichillo that they would be making fire, and she would take Sue Smey to final three.
Sam struggled making fire while he and Teeny practiced, but he got extra motivation when he went back and read a letter he previously received from his dad.
At tribal council, Rachel officially sent Sam and Teeny into the fire-making challenge.
After Teeny took a big lead, Sam came back and won, clinching his spot in the final three with Rachel and Sue.
The final three later pleaded their cases to the jury members, before the jury voted for their winner of Sole Survivor.
Rachel then won the title of Sole Survivor for season 47.
