Wild adventures await at Wingham Wildlife Park in 2024

Adventure awaits at Wingham Wildlife Park – visitors can come and see one of the largest variety of animal species out of all the wildlife parks and zoos in Kent.

When it comes to getting up close and personal with some of the world’s most beloved animals, there are few better places to visit at any time of the year.

From monkeys to jaguars, red pandas to penguins, there’s a huge range of animals and birds that visitors can expect to see. Daily talks and feed times offer the perfect opportunity to hear from the park’s expert keepers too, and learn more about the amazing creatures it keeps.

Families can also take a stroll through the tropical house to see the birds, and feed the lorikeets at selected times throughout the day. They can also visit the reptile house and meet the magnificent Cuban crocodiles.

Whereas the nocturnal house allows visitors to view some of the nocturnal species as if they were visiting them at night. Here they can see clouded leopards, raccoon dogs, night monkeys, bush babies, and tawny frogmouths.

There are even the new sugar gliders to spot too.

For the more adventurous younger guests, the wildlife park offers the chance to get up close and personal with some of the most ferocious animals ever to walk the planet in its incredible dinosaur exhibit.

The park is also home to the following:

• A wildly fun 18-hole mini golf course. Open daily from 10am to 5pm. Each game costs just £6 per person, or £4 per person for those holding membership cards.

• An outdoor children’s play area with mini diggers and go-karts that keen adventurers will love.

• A 3,300-square-foot indoor soft play area spread over three levels.

Visitors to Wingham Wildlife Park can purchase one-day tickets or season tickets that allow them to come as they please all year round. The park is located on the A257 between Canterbury and Sandwich, and is open every day of the year except Christmas Day.
