
GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A Winston-Salem man is dead after a Saturday afternoon shooting, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
At around 4:38 p.m. on Saturday, officers and Guilford County EMS came to the intersection of Kenneth Road and Nandina Drive after getting a report of a shooting in the area.
The intersection is located in a residential area near North Elm Street and Interstate 840 Urban Loop.
At the scene, EMS performed life-saving measures on a man who was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a car in the roadway.
The gunshot victim would be pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators determined that foul play was involved in the fatal shooting and secured the scene with homicide detectives of forensic crime scene investigators responding.
The deceased has been identified as Jayard Khali Amir Little, 23, of Winston-Salem.

The fatal shooting marks the 16th homicide of 2024 in the city of Greensboro.
