TEMPE, Ariz. — The University of Michigan women’s tennis team wrapped up its fall season on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 5), concluding action at the three-day ASU Thunderbird at the Whiteman Tennis Center.

In action for the Maize and Blue in Arizona were Reese Miller, Lily Jones, Gala Mesochoritou and Piper Charney. Mesochoritou went a perfect 2-0 in singles action, picking up a pair of wins the first two days of action before sitting out the final day.

Charney bounced back from dropping her first singles match to finish with a 2-1 record, while Jones picked up one win to end the fall.

On the doubles court, U-M used three different teams over the course of the competition. Miller and Charney went 1-1 to highlight Michigan’s doubles effort.

U-M will be back in action for one final tournament once the calendar flips to 2024, hosting the Michigan Invitational, Jan. 12-14, at the Varsity Tennis Center. Following that weekend, U-M will begin dual-match play with a pair of matches in the Sooner State.
