A woman in her 70s has died after being struck by a car outside a supermarket in Lincolnshire.

The black Nissan hit two pedestrians at the entrance of the Tesco store in Horncastle at 13:15 GMT on Friday.

Both were seriously injured and taken to hospital, where one of the woman later died, a Lincolnshire Police spokesman said.

The force has appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
