
WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW women’s basketball team continues its homestand just before Thanksgiving vs. Presbyterian on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Trask Coliseum.

The Seahawks have won all three previous meetings in the series that dates back to the 2007-08 season.
The two squads last met in 2019, a 70-60 UNCW victory in Clinton, S.C. Wednesday marks Presbyterian’s first visit to the Port City since November 2018.

Western Carolina scored the game’s final seven points to push past the UNCW women’s basketball team, 54-43, at the annual Seahawks Tomorrow education game last Thursday.
UNCW was led in scoring by freshman guard Kylah Silver with nine points. Senior center Lexi Jackson added a season-high 10 rebounds.

The Blue Hose enter following a 72-56 setback vs. East Tennessee State on Sunday. Sixth-year center Bryanna Brady is the top scorer for sixth-year Head Coach Alaura Sharp with 12.4 ppg through five contests.
Presbyterian, who was picked to finish second in the Big South Preseason Poll, started three sophomores against the Buccaneers.
