Women’s Basketball Season Promotions Set


THE FLATS – Fans won’t want to miss any of the action of the 2023-24 Georgia Tech women’s basketball season as athletics has announced the season promotions. The season officially begins on Monday, Nov. 6, with Education Day.

Fan and student promotions are planned for nearly every game, beginning with the season-opener that will welcome over 3,000 kids to McCamish Pavilion on “Education Day.” Eight of Tech’s home games also feature halftime performers, while four games include student giveaways and an additional four games feature fan giveaways.

The inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge game on Nov. 29 against Florida, presented by Delta, will serve as a “White Out” with a white t-shirt student giveaway. Tech’s game on Dec. 10 against Georgia State presented by United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters, and HVAC Technicians Local Union 72, will host a donation drive (details to come later), while Dec. 20 against USC Upstate will feature an ornament giveaway.

Tech’s “We Back Pat” game will be held on Jan. 11, and the annual “Alumni Game” will take place on Jan. 28 presented by Invesco QQQ. Women’s basketball will welcome back former letterwinners and giveaway sponsored themed scarves.

All four home games in February serve as annual celebratory games, kicking off with “Honoring Black Excellence” on Feb. 1 presented by Kroger. Students will receive a long-sleeve Honoring Black Excellence shirt. On Feb. 11, Georgia Tech will hold its “Pink Game” with a special tribute to former associate head coach Tasha Butts. A pink t-shirt giveaway for students will highlight the game presented by United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters, and HVAC Technicians Local Union 72.

The Jackets host Louisville on Feb. 22 for “TECHnology Night” and will distribute flags for all fans. Tech’s final regular season home game on Feb. 25 against Wake Forest will serve as the annual Senior Day recognition and “National Girls and Women In Sports Day” game.

Season and single-game tickets are currently on sale for all Georgia Tech women’s basketball. Fans can purchase tickets online, by visiting the Georgia Tech athletics ticket office or by calling 888.TECH.TIX.
