Women’s Basketball Signs Lucy Hood During Early Signing Period

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina head women’s basketball coach Kiley Hill and staff announced the addition of guard Lucy Hood (Rabun, Gap, Ga.) out of nearby northern Georgia to the program as a part of the Catamounts’ 2024-25 class.

“We are extremely excited to have Lucy join our Catamount Family,” said Hill. “Lucy brings an extremely high basketball IQ along with the heart of a lion. Off the floor, she exemplifies being a true student-athlete with her dedication to improving herself and others around her. Catamounts young and old are going to see a true gem in Lucy Hood.”
