RICHMOND, Va. Head Coach Aaron Roussell and the University of Richmond Women’s Basketball team announced the 2024 signing class for the Spiders on Friday, adding three signees to next year’s roster.
“I am very pleased with what we are adding to our team and to the university next fall,” Roussell said. “Each of these players fill a need, and each will have a chance to make an impact on next year’s roster. A huge kudos to our staff who did a great job in assembling this class which will continue the rise of our program.”
“Annika is an extremely athletic post player with a ton of potential,” Roussell continued. “Her ability to run the floor and use her versatility in the half court will be a huge asset for us. In addition, Alicia has all the tools to be a high-level point guard in our league. She knows the game, can score from each level and plays with a level of aggression on both ends of the floor that will be fun to watch for our fans and a joy to play with as a teammate. Peyton is an incredibly skilled player that can play and guard multiple positions. I was impressed with her high IQ and her tenacity, in addition to her ability to score.”
