WEST POINT, N.Y. (BUBearcats.com) – The Binghamton women’s tennis team (0-6, 0-3) were defeated 4-0 by Army inside the Malek Tennis Center Saturday morning.
Maria Pereira and Nitya Vyas recorded BU’s best doubles finish in the second slot, earning three games against the Black Knights.
After falling 6-0 in the first set, Caterina Casadei mounted a 4-1 comeback in the second set before Army claimed the total match victory.
Next up, Binghamton will host NEC member Merrimack at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center, Feb. 4. Match time is slated for 2 p.m.
