CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women’s tennis will continue their 2024 spring season this weekend as they hit the road for a pair of matches in Texas. Beginning tomorrow, January 20, the Crimson will take on No. 10 Texas A&M at 1:00 p.m. ET. Harvard will close out its Texas road trip against Rice at 12:00 p.m. ET the following day.

- The Crimson opened up its 50th season of Harvard women’s tennis with a 6-1 win over crosstown foe, Boston College on Wednesday, January 17.
- Harvard started the day by picking up the doubles point off of dominant wins from Stephanie Yakoff and Holly Fischer and Natalie Block and Sany Gawande. Either Crimson duo was teaming up for the just the second and third times, respectively, in 2023-24.
- Fischer, who ranks No. 103 nationally for singles, remained undefeated on the season after defeating Seren Aguiar (Boston College) at the No. 1 position. The junior now sits at 6-0 for the year.
- Stephanie Yakoff at the No. 2 spot and Kate Kim at the No. 5 position both picked up their first collegiate wins of the dual season.
- Kim continues to lead the Crimson with total wins, now sitting with am overall record of 11-3. Yakoff follows closely behind, with one win away from double digit victories and only two losses.
- During the fall season the Crimson accumulated 47 singles victories and 20 doubles wins through six tournaments.
- Charlotte Owensby returns for Harvard after spending nearly all of last season at the No. 1 singles position and ultimately earning Ivy League Rookie of the Year and ITA Northeast Region Rookie of the Year honors.

The Crimson will next head to Nebraska for another two-game road slate before returning home. On Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28, Harvard will take on DePaul and University of Nebraska.
