The judging panel includes internet-famous AI models Emily Pellegrini and Atiana Lopez. Hstorian Sally-Ann Fawcett, will be the human judge for the event.

Fanvue is a social media platform dedicated to AI-generated content creators. Fanvue was founded during the first lockdown in March 2020 by William Monange and YouTuber Joel Morris (JMX).

According to Mirror, “The futuristic Fanvue World AI Creator Awards (WAICAs) will see computer-generated figures judged on their beauty, technicalities, and social media clout in an online event next month. Although slightly dystopian, creators say the ceremony could be the tech world’s ‘Oscars,’ at a time when 10,000 AI models are making waves on the internet.” The winners of the pageant will be announced on May 10, followed by an online awards ceremony.

The first real-life beauty pageant took place in 1839. This fashion AI beauty pageant comes 185 years later. The question remains: will this set unreal beauty standards for girls?”
