MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — The first quarter of 2024 is an exciting time at West Virginia University’s Canady Creative Arts Center, with the institution’s University Art Series bringing live original music, tribute bands and Broadway-quality theater to the stage for patrons.

West Virginia University Arts & Entertainment Marketing/Advertising Manager Kristie Stewart-Gale said the nationally touring series has been held during WVU’s school year annually for 50 years, with this year already bringing acts like Old Crow Medicine Show, as well as productions of plays such as “Jesus Christ Superstar” to the stage.
